Building Permits

The Building Services Department at The County of Lambton issues building permits for The Village of Oil Springs.

Building permits are required for:

New structures (dwellings, garages, carports, etc.)
Renovations to existing structures
Additions to existing structures
The demolition of any structure
Swimming pools/fence

Free standing structures that are smaller than 108 square feet do not require a building permit but must comply with the zoning by-laws of The Village of Oil Springs.
